Zandvoort: enjoy it 365 days a year
The summers with its pavilions, events and hustle and bustle in the village. Autumn with its fighting deer, beautiful colors and man-sized bison. In the winter the cozy beach walks and in the spring with the blossoming nature. Every season you discover a different side of Zandvoort, so no visit has to be the same.
The beach
Sunbathing, walking, seeing and being seen, water sports, laughing, exercising, but above all relaxing and having fun. The beach is a source of entertainment and relaxation all year round. It is not without reason that millions of people find their way to the beach of Zandvoort every year.
The Village
The center of Zandvoort cannot be compared to any other village. It is authentic and modern, village and city, pleasantly busy and wonderfully quiet, but above all itself. You can enjoy shopping here or grab a terrace for a snack or a drink.
Haltestraat is closed from the end of June to the beginning of September, so you can shop in peace or enjoy a drink on a terrace.
The circuit
Known for Formula 1, which is a big party every year. And where many other events are held. The 'sacred asphalt' where history has been written for so many years. You can even rent a super nice car to drive laps around the circuit yourself.
It’s nature
In no other place in the Netherlands will you find nature like you find in Zandvoort. Go for a walk or take a bike and before you know it, you will be face to face with Konik horses, Highland cattle, stately primeval cattle, foxes or deer.
The history
The village that has its origins in the fish trade, see the Zandvoort coat of arms. The Second World War also had a major impact here, with the demolition of the houses on the boulevard and the bunkers that can still be found in the dunes. In our Zandvoorts Museum you will find interesting information about Zandvoort, past and present. There are also often beautiful exhibitions there.
The surrounding area
Zandvoort is the only coastal town with a direct train connection to Haarlem and Amsterdam, where you can of course do everything: shopping, visiting museums and sightseeing.
In the spring you can also reach the Keukenhof in half an hour.
